Pre-payment & Cancellation Policy
PRE-PAYMENT POLICY
We wish to inform you of our Practice Billing Policy here at Specialist Dental Suite, Parramatta.
We strongly believe everyone deserves to have access to high-quality healthcare. However, in the past we have had various cancellations. The Specialists want to be available for your needs and the needs of other patients. When a patient does not attend to a scheduled appointment, other patients lose the opportunity to be seen, and the time of the specialist and staff that has been reserved for your appointment, cannot be put to good use elsewhere.
As a result, we have introduced a pre-payment policy for new patient consultations as such:
- Full payment for the consultation is required 2 days prior to your consultation.
- Payments can be made using EFTPOS (credit card details over the phone) or bank transfer (Mastercard or Visa) and we will send your deposit receipt to your email.
Please note this receipt is not claimable. An itemised invoice will be issued on the day after your consultation that can be taken for claiming with your private health insurance.
APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION & FAILURE TO ATTEND POLICY
We understand that unplanned issues can arise, and you may need to cancel an appointment. Should this occur, we respectfully ask that scheduled appointments be cancelled at least 24 hours in advanced.
A cancellation fee of 50% of the quoted amount is payable if you cancel your appointment with less than 24hours (business day) notice. A payment of 50% of the charges will also be applicable if you fail to attend your appointment.
It is crucial that you notify us of your cancellation, at least 24 hrs prior to your appointment time, to avoid the 50% cancellation fee. We may also ask you to prepay in full for future appointments.
